AEGIS MEDIC

AI-Enhanced Guardian Imaging System for Medics
Patent Pending — U.S. Non-Provisional Patent Application No. 19/688,914, filed May 27, 2026, claiming priority to U.S. Provisional Application No. 63/981,331 (filed February 2026). Atty. Docket No. AEGIS-001-NP.

The Problem: Hemorrhage is the leading cause of preventable death on the battlefield. While portable ultrasound hardware exists, the expertise to interpret images in a "Care Under Fire" scenario is a rare and perishable skill.

The Solution: AEGIS MEDIC is hardware-agnostic AI middleware that transforms any handheld ultrasound probe into an expert-guided diagnostic tool. It runs entirely offline on ruggedized mobile hardware — no cloud required — and provides real-time, turn-by-turn guidance for 68W Combat Medics, Pararescue, and Civilian EMTs operating in austere or connectivity-degraded environments.

Hardware Agnostic

Designed to integrate seamlessly with existing COTS probes (Butterfly, GE Vscan, Philips Lumify) via standard SDKs. No new proprietary hardware required.

Autonomous Triage

Automated detection of critical trauma indicators including Pneumothorax (Collapsed Lung) and Intraperitoneal Hemorrhage (Internal Bleeding) using the eFAST protocol.

Technical Specifications

  • Architecture: Edge-native AI (Runs offline/locally)
  • Target Users: Army Medics (68W), Pararescue (PJ), Civilian Paramedics
  • Regulatory Pathway: FDA 510(k) Class II SaMD (Targeting Q4 2026)
  • Current Status: Non-Provisional Patent Application Filed (USPTO #19/688,914, May 27, 2026). Engaged with Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC). Working demonstration available under NDA.
